Wondering What to Pack for Your Dude Ranch Safari Vacation?
There are two important things to take into account: the activities you’ll be doing, and the weather at our tropical Ranch.
Things are pretty casual down at Rancho El Chonete Ranch. Best to leave your high heels and fancy pants at home. We want you to be as comfortable as possible during your stay here. Jeans are always a safe bet for our guests of all ages. We have true tropical weather here at the Ranch, so when you’re packing, be sure to pack clothing that is versatile and good for being outdoors and for seasonal weather changes.
Average temp at the Ranch is between 72 degrees and 85 degrees. Very comfortable climate!
If you leave the ranch to head up the mountains you wild want to consider a sweater as the temperatures are consistently cooler at higher elevations.
We at the Ranch recommends long sleeve light shirts and very light cotton pants. Example: a doctor/nurses uniform for comfort at night and although this is not a real problem but a practical prevention from bug bites if your blood is sweet and delicious like the ranch owners.
